The solar array at AppleKnockers continues to play a vital role in our community impact initiatives. From October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024, the array produced an impressive 26,552 kWh of electricity. This production generated $2,666.41 in solar income, credited to the Solar Shares program.
Due to the strong interest from families wanting to participate, Solar Shares has increased the participant number back to nine. This adjustment reflects the original plan for the Warren project. Last year, there were eight participants, resulting in higher individual credits on electric bills. For 2025, the solar credit will be $24.69 per participant, based on this year’s production numbers and the increased number of participants.
